The Institute of diocesan right of Friars Minor Renewed was founded by Br. Tommaso di Gesù and five more brother Capuchin Franciscan Friars thanks to a special indult of the Holy See. The purpose was living again the spirit and life style of the Franciscan origins and – according to the Vatican Council II – without losing sight of the adaptation.
